Add max values for bandwidth in & out when using the line type

Add max values for bandwidth in & out when using the line type.

example:
Some switches have a port speed setting of 100 Mbit while the ISP shapes the line on 20 Mbit. It would be nice to add a custom in/out treshold in NagVis.

Kind Regards,
Tim

How the supporting system works

You as a supporter of a feature specify one or several things you like to give to the solver for getting the feature request solved. It can be for example a bunch of coins but some developers migth also be happy about some beer donations ;-).

Posting your donation to a feature is seen as a willigness to support this feature. It is no binding offer. Once the feature gets targeted to be solved, we will contact you with more details.

Hi Tim,

If I understand your post correctly, there is another way to accomplish this w/o changing NagVis. If you're using the check_traffic64.pl check (see http://exchange.nagios.org/directory/Plugins/Network-Connections%2C-Stats-and-Bandwidth/check_iftraffic64/details) it has this ability already (see the -I and -O switches) and outputs the perf data in a NagVis compatible format. If you use that check you'll have the feature you're looking for w/o having to wait. :-)

-cheers
